Writing Services successfully carried out website, enewsletters and social media work for Make Music Gloucestershire, the county’s music education hub.
As part of Anita’s work with Make Music Gloucestershire, the county’s music education hub, she developed a new website, enewsletters and social media channels. (NB: the website has since been transferred over to the County Council’s own website framework so is not the original version).
The website – developed with the help of digital design agency Icon.net – is a portal for a range of organisations, services and activities; stories, news and opportunities. This central platform helps the partnership of organisations to explain what the Hub is, sell services, promote and signpost opportunities, and advocate the impact and value of music education.
It does this through news items, case studies and stories, interviews, videos, a downloadable schools brochure, and two digital ‘apps’ – TouchBass, where people can search for, or submit, information about music lessons, rehearsal spaces and other music services; and MusicDataShare, a tool for collecting information about music activities in schools.
Anita continued to oversee the content and development of the Hub’s digital platforms for two years, before handing on to a colleague who is now able to manage the day-to-day news and updates.
